My working title for the Girl Scout story will be “No Campfire, Girls”, which is probably more appropriate than the “Burning Brownies” that was suggested.
Meanwhile, the working title of my “space opera” novella, which is flirting with becoming a novel, is: “Beowulf: In Harm’s Way”. Or possibly, since that’s the name of a ship and has nothing to do with the character, “The Beowulf: In Harm’s Way”. It’s meant to be a humorous look at the genre, while also being a serious story.
We’ll see if I can pull that off.
