Yes, runners are insane, ask any non-runner and they will definitely confirm that.
I mean, really, who, in their right mind, would get up at 5 AM out of a nice warm comfortable bed to go outside, in the dark, and go running? Especially if it’s wintertime and the temperature is below freezing and the wind chill is 20 degrees. Nobody but a crazy person, right?

Who else, when asked, what do you do when it rains, responds by saying “why go for a run, of course, exercise, therapy and a shower, all at the same time”.
Who else but a runner would actually pay money to enter into a race on the same trail that they run every day for free?
I know, I know, I see it in the eyes of the people I’m running toward on the trail. The non-running older couple who are out for a morning stroll and are thinking to them selves what is this old guy doing out here running? He’ll give himself a heart attack. (Or maybe, just maybe, they are a little bit jealous?)
So, if anyone has ever accused you of being a little bit crazy. Join us, you’ll fit right in!
