Spot the Fake — NRA Edition

April 26, 2019

The NRA 2019 Annual Meetings and Exhibits is being held this weekend in Indianapolis. Can you spot the fakes hidden among actual lectures and seminars listed on the NRA Annual Meetings website?

  1. 22nd Annual National Firearms Law Seminar

A day-long class for attorneys and others having an interest in Second Amedment Law… Topics will include discussions of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association case now before the Supreme Court, other cases from the federal courts, state constitutional right to keep and bear arms provisions, FBI NICS updates and appeals, challenging Veterans Administration incompetency determinations, firearms forensics, unlicensed and gunsmith manufacturing (including 80% lowers and 3D printing), defending ranges, and legal ethics.

  1. 22nd Annual National Firearms Law Seminar

Same as above, only with “Amendment” spelled correctly.

  1. Bump Your Stocks

This session will teach you how to make money as a small arms dealer in an increasingly regulated world. Hosted by anchors from Fox Business Network, special focus will be paid to creatively tapping into secondary markets (i.e. gun shows, the internet, and the parking lot at what was once your local Sears store), understanding why universal gun control hurts America even more than it hurts you, and how to keep the government from prying your guns from your cold, dead hands.

  1. The Firing Line

How do radical Islam, limited access to mental health, and socialists in Congress directly impact your family, your finances, and your firearms? An eye-opening, protective intelligence briefing that will change the very way you look at the world and teach you what you can do right now to protect yourself and your family from today’s unprecedented attacks on your safety, your liberty, and your heritage.

  1. Current and Emerging Threats: How It Affects You!

How do deteriorating conditions in Syria, active jihadist social media recruitment, cyber-attacks, our porous borders and other current and emerging global threats directly impact your family and your finances? More importantly, what can you do about it? An eye-opening protective intelligence briefing that will change the very way you look at the world and teach you what you can do right now to protect yourself and your family from today’s unprecedented violence and global threat.

  1. Results: American Rifleman’s 3rd Annual Ladies Pistol Project

Which pistols are current favorites of women—and why? A new favorite pistol emerged at the end of the 3rd Annual American Rifleman Ladies Pistol Project… Not just for ladies, anyone who wants to learn about women and firearms is welcome to attend.

  1. Gals with Glocks: A Roundtable Discussion

Not just for the ladies, this interactive session explores women-specific issues from the NRA’s empowering decision to help block the expansion of the Violence Against Women Act to creative concealment options. You can purchase our Packing Heat brand yoga pants inspired by Tomi Lahren at Booth #249 in the Exhibit Hall.

  1. A Firearm Safety Seminar

This course is for people who have never fired a gun or are looking for a refresher on the basics of safely handling firearms. Trained instructors will review pertinent laws and will demonstrate how to store and handle weapons safely. Topics include how to avoid accidental or negligent discharge….and how to minimize the risk of property damage, injury, or death. This class is the perfect first step in becoming a responsible gun owner

Now that is a clever piece! Ingeniously written and a bit scary since it stands so close to the truth of how they actually are.
And tell me the secret to getting published by The Sun please! I gave up long ago.
