Desperate to modernize its policies toward females, the Taliban is seeking input from these three high-profile American women. “We want to do the right thing by our womenfolk,” claims a confidential Taliban source. “We’ve made our share of mistakes in the past….maybe more than our share. The whole stoning-to-death thing was a real embarrassment, and so primitive. We’re thinking about instituting punishments that are more progressive, like extended ‘time outs’.”
The invitations were extended to Steinem, Schumer, and Stallion on Wednesday, when they were abducted at knifepoint from the Los Angeles set of “Golden Girls II,” an upcoming Lifetime movie starring the trio.
That sounds like a pretty typical Taliban invitation.
