Donald Trump, in a rare showing of heartfelt emotion, sent his condolences concerning the fatal shootings of a Minnesota State Representative and her husband yesterday.
State Representative Melissa Hortman was killed by a man pretending to be a police officer. When she answered the door Vance Boelter, pretending to be a policeman, shot her and her husband. This individual earlier had shot Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, both of whom survived.
Boelter was later found nearby crawling in a field near his home. In his car were found documents of other Democratic politicians and supporters who he probably had intention of assassinating too. These included:

Caught up in the emotions of the moment, President Donald Trump issued an emotional condolence over the incident. To Van Boelter he wrote “Thank you for your patriotic service! I am grieved that you were caught! My prayers and wishes go with you Mr. Boelter.”
