How the Cat Steals the Bed

First, Kitty gets bored with whatever she is doing and decides to take a nap. Cats sleep about 16 hours a day, so this is not unusual.

Next, Kitty jumps onto the bed, lies down, spreads out horizontally, preferably near the pillows, and goes to sleep.

Kitty’s human wants to lie down, but can’t do so because there’s a cat on the bed. The human bangs on the bed, shakes it and orders the cat to get down. The cat barely opens her eyes, and gives the human an look of supreme disinterest.

The human yells at the cat and shakes the bed a few more times, then gives up and decides to take a nap in the armchair instead. The supremely satisfied cat settles down into a very long nap.

  1. What I wouldn’t do to be able to sleep for 16 hours a day cannot be broadcast for it would be illegal, even in my own 14 countries!

    1. You’d have to steal enough money so you could sleep instead of going to work?

      Just guessing.

    1. Cuteness is vastly underrated as a survival technique. 😉

I also love my cat, and that should be factored in, too. 😀
