Each year, an annual event takes place. It makes little sense but sense is not something I’ve ever had a close relationship with and long may it continue. Once a year, in a role reversal that turns all other role reversals on its head, Sugartastic Daddy John allows Thirsty Dave to work in one of his shops while he goes to a bar and consumes an amount of alcohol that a medium-sized country, consumes in a year. Because we get bored very easily, we simply call this event ‘the day of turning things upside down’. The day starts like any other day except we turn things upside down. This year, the thirsty one got to work in one of Daddy’s pawn shops and true to form, he immediately put his own stamp on things:

Methinks you’re massively right. The sign would be very much at home there and have lots of friends around for coffee, to discuss the finer points of signage in this modern era.
