Outrunning Father Time!

August 3, 2018

Because of my regular daily schedule during the week, normally I wait and do my long runs on the weekend, usually Sunday but some days on Saturday.

After one of my long run on a recent weekend, after cooling down, and after my shower, I sat down to relax. My wife came into the room and when I got up and walked over to her my legs had tightened up.

Her comment to me was “you walk like an old man”. I smiled and said, “I am an old man, who just ran 5 miles”. She said, “why did you run so far, was someone chasing you?”

I said, “yes, old age”.
