I watched that new show Wednesday.
The girl playing Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) did a pretty good job, but not quite there.
Very close, though. She definitely made it to Tuesday. I thought around noon but on further analysis, I think she’s close to midnight on Tuesday. A few minutes before.
Just shy of early Wednesday morning. Too bad.
But look at the shoes she had to fill (or black dress?). Christina Ricci? The definitive Wednesday. There aren’t enough days in the week to get as good as her. I heard she started working on it Tuesday around lunch, and by Wednesday at 12:01 a.m. she was ready to go. Astounding. And when the director found Christina for the part, he yelled TGIW.
Still, you gotta give Jenna a hand for her efforts. Interestingly, her favourite band is ‘Til Tuesday.
I think Jenna is good enough that she deserves a hand.
