Bill Y, what are “giblets”? I’ve asked others this question, and they always tell me, “Giblets are awful,” and I ask again, “OK, but what are they?” and they just say again, “They’re awful.”
I can well understand why you are searching for an answer to this one, Bill. I remember an old pirate saying “Jack, I like the cut of your jib”. I would love to know how my brain makes connections but I thought “jib” was short for “giblets” and thought it was a fowl thing to say to someone. So, in conclusion, please let me know when you find out as this is the type of thing that causes lost sleep.
