Friday Humor Devotional

Dear Lord, please forgive the nonsensical ramblings of Clint Eastwood. Personally, I thought his RNC speech was an excellent example of the GOP.  A past co-star, Clyde the orangutan from Every Which Way But Loose refused comment stating that Eastwood had already made a big enough monkey out of himself, Amen.

Actors are among the most liberal-minded people on earth. So how do these older, legendary fim stars get so conservative? Not all old film stars become right-wingers, but it seems like enough of them do. There must be something about being older, rich, famous and established that turns people into reactionaries.

Kathy, the key word in your comment is “rich” and they want to stay that way. ;)

I love that orangutan! Maybe he should have given the speech!

It would have been a lot more coherent and entertaining to say the least!!

I don’t know of his politics and can’t say that I want to. All I know is that he directed and starred in Gran Torino and that film is a piece of art.

LOL, yes Bill Gran Torino was awesome and that’ why the phrase, “Don’t quit your day job” comes to mind. ;)
