Newt Gingrich told a cheering crowd of about 700 people that he wants to build a colony on the moon by 2020. I am all for this, and I propose that the first colonists be Newt, the ultra-conservative GOP and FOX News. With all that hot air gone, global warming will probably no longer be an issue.

I saw something funny recently where someone referenced Newt’s speech about having a moon base by his second term as President. The comment was something like “rarely has a sentence been constructed where the idea of a moon base is not the craziest thing in it.
His second term? Gee, I hope they are smoking something potent because that does not appeal to me in the least.
I think Newt’s been living on another planet for years, if you catch my drift . . .
