Introduction:
Every once in a while it is always good to share one’s knowledge with those who could benefit by it. It has come to my attention that some women may need a few pointers to better understand certain things and thereby make their life a bit easier. Therefore, I am going to share some helpful tidbits of information with all of the ladies. For the purposes of today’s discussion we’ll go over just three helpful suggestions, as it is understood that only so much can be absorbed at one time.
1) When a man says that he is good at something he is not insinuating that you are bad at it.
Example:
Man: “I really did a good job cleaning the house today honey.”
Bad response by the woman: “I just cleaned a few days ago are you saying I didn’t do a good job?”
Good response by the woman: “Thank you!”
2) Cranking the car heater all the way up when starting the car does not make the car get warmer any faster.
Explanation:
The heat in the engine warms the car’s heater. After a cold start it may take a few minutes for the engine to warm up. Until then the heater might actually blow cool air. The only thing that jamming the control all the way up accomplishes is to have the heater blow hotter air after the point of comfort has been reached. Consequently, the heater will need turned down as the inside of the car turns into an oven. The solution is to find a setting during the cold months that is generally comfortable and to just basically leave it alone except for minor adjustments for a given day’s weather.
3) If you know it will take an hour to get somewhere, it won’t hurt to leave a minute early.
Explanation:
When about to embark on a little journey, especially if you have never been to your destination before, it is generally good to allow for a little extra time beyond the estimated time of arrival. You never know what is going to happen. You might make a wrong turn. There might be an accident that slows traffic. You might have to make an unexpected stop. So, a little extra time allows for a more relaxed and carefree trek for you and your male companion.

I certainly hope that these three promptings for women help make the female existence a little easier. It has long been my goal to assist women with some basic fundamentals that the female of the species may find a bit perplexing. Yes, I am sure that many women may now suggest that I go do something to myself. That’s okay. Do you know why? Because I am the best I ever had.

Apparently there has been some confusion because of my loose and general application of the term “thermostat” in reference to a device that regulates how much heat is coming out of a heater. Duly noted and corrected. Thank you
They have thermostats in cars?
I am now driving the first car I’ve owned with an actual thermostat. All previous cars just had a warmer/cooler adjustment that was independent of the internal car temperature. It’s so nice to be able to let the car automatically keep the temperature where I want it!
Yes, digital thermostats are very nice although I do not care for climate control settings. I like cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, pretty simple.
