NASA is jumping up and down with the news that a new rock showed up in a Mars Rover photograph. The rock is like nothing else scientists have seen before on Mars and they are puzzled and excited as to where it came from. In an unrelated incident, a 10-year-0ld boy has been granted a US patent for the longest hurling slingshot.

This is exactly why I left NASA, they’ve got rocks for brains!
Are you saying that Mars is just a stone’s throw away?
HA HA HA! Mike!
Hm. So they’ve got a car, a rock that looks like a jelly filled donut … they’d better make sure the rover stays under the speed limit, there’s bound to be a cop around.
You are right Mark! It could be the best set up for a speed trap ever!
Leave it to NASA to get excited about a rock on a planet made out of rocks. Now if they found a pet dish filled with water, that would be worth a jump or two.
Exactly! A billboard would have caught my attention!
