  1. I thought Garry Trudeau could be funny, every now and then. Imagine how well he could have done if he poked fun at both sides, instead of only one?

    1. Oh he did! Whoever was the President at the time got his share of the barbs. He portrayed Clinton as being a feather because he was so light and Carter got his share too. He went after a number of hte pretensions of the left.

  2. I don’t know if the Gary Trudeau (Doonesbury cartoon maker) comment was made facetiously or not, but if it was a serious knock down I will just say that Mr. Trudeau was one of the frew guiding lights of reason and sanity in his humor about the difficulties that we went through during his heyday in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. We would have been poorer had he not been there with his astute perceptions. He is also one of the few cartoonist to tranform himself from being a crude cartoonist to the rank of a true artist duiring his career, an acomplishment Dilbert, (Scott Adams), for all his wealth, has still not acheived or even attempted.
