Every year Scurvy Jane goes to Thirsty Dave’s place for Christmas and every year Thirsty Dave fails to get what he wants for Christmas. If the thirsty one was awarded pints for trying, he would drink those pints but he still wouldn’t be happy because that’s not what he really wants. He longs to feel the lips of the scurvy on him and every year he gets the mistletoe out and every year I tell him to at least try and be subtle about it but he never once listens:
Yet she keeps coming back, year after year after year. There’s something there that makes you ponder.
