Author: Dave Jaffe

Humorist, writer, former Chicago reporter, multiple award-winning columnist Dave Jaffe has written for online media, print, television, and radio. Creative, clever, witty – these are traits that kept Dave in detention for most of the eighth grade. But as an adult these skills have led to award-winning books, columns and commentary. Dave’s work has appeared in a wide range of outlets, from HuffPost and HumorOutcasts to National Public Radio and The National Lampoon. He even wrote sketches for Bozo the Clown. (Who can forget the “Bozo Juggles Invisible Chainsaws” bit?) Dave’s books, Sleeping Between Giants, Book 1: Life, if you could call it that, with a Terrier and Sleeping between Giants, Book 2: Ask a Terrier—Professional Advice from a Licensed Dog, have been honored with the 2023 Best Indie Book Award for Humor, the 17th Annual National Indie Excellence® Awards for Animals & Pets, the 2021 International Book Awards for Humor, and Indies Today 2019 Best Humor Book Award.
